Job Summary
Provide social companionship and support with daily living tasks including feeding, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation for seniors in their own homes. Assist with transportation to appointments and errands, standby for transfers, and offer overnight safety assistance. Maintain relationships with clients who wish to age in place while ensuring their dignity and comfort. Full or part-time options available with flexible schedules. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel 15 miles required.
Required Qualifications
- Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
- Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proof of valid driver's license
- Valid automobile insurance
- Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
Desired Qualifications
- CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons
- Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care
