Job Summary
Provide social companionship and support with daily living tasks including feeding, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, cooking, and toileting. Assist clients with transfers, provide overnight safety assistance, and arrange transportation for appointments, errands, and social outings. Work one-on-one with seniors to enhance their quality of life while maintaining dignity and compassion. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel 15 miles required. Physical ability to lift 25lbs necessary. Join our team to help older adults age in place in their own homes.
Required Qualifications
- Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
- Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proof of valid driver's license
- Valid automobile insurance
- Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
Desired Qualifications
- CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons
- Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care
