Job Summary
Provide social companionship and support with daily living tasks including feeding, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Assist clients with transfers, provide overnight safety assistance, and arrange transportation to appointments and social outings. Maintain light housekeeping and laundry duties while ensuring a safe environment for seniors aging in place. This role offers full or part-time options with flexible scheduling and a fast-track hiring process. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults through empathy and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
- Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
- Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
Desired Qualifications
- No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
- Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
- Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
- A compassionate heart for older adults
