Job Summary
Caregiver to provide companionship and emotional support to seniors, assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming), light housekeeping and meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility assistance, and transportation to appointments. Maintain client safety and report changes in condition; ensure a clean, safe home environment. Requires compassionate, reliable individuals with a valid driver’s license, ability to assist with mobility, good communication skills, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Schedule includes day, evening, and weekend shifts; full-time or part-time opportunities in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria Counties.
Required Qualifications
- Genuine compassion for seniors
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous caregiving experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidates)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- Proficient English communication
