Job Summary
Caregiver/HCA or CNA for 12-hour day and night shifts in Stanwood, WA. Responsibilities include personal care (bathing assistance and peri-care), transfers and ambulation, meal preparation and special diets, transportation to appointments and shopping, light housekeeping and home management, medication reminders, companionship and supervision, and occasional gardening and pet care. Requires licensed/certified CNA or HCA or willingness to obtain licensure within 200 days of hire. Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance or reliable transportation, pass a background check, and provide two professional references. Strong written and oral communication, reliability, and compassion for caregiving are essential; previous caregiver experience is preferred but training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed/certified CNA/HCA or willing to get licensed within 200 days of hire
- Driver’s License and proof of insurance or reliable source of transportation
- Must pass background check & have at least 2 positive professional references
- Reliable and punctual (must show up/not call out)
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but we are willing to support and train new caregivers
