Job Summary
Provide hands-on care to residents on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Tuesday–Saturday). Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility) and follow resident care plans. Perform safety checks and toileting rounds; document changes in resident status and needs; report concerns to supervisor; respond to calls and emergencies; maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information. Handle resident laundry and light housekeeping of common areas; ensure a safe environment for residents. Must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, be reliable, and communicate effectively in English. Preference given to candidates with 1-2 years of elderly-care experience and to those holding an LNA license. In-person work location. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school degree or equivalent GED
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally, read, write and understand English
- Able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds
- Walk/stand for long periods
- Preferred 1-2 years experience with the elderly, preferably in residential setting; Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
