Job Summary
Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities, participate in community integration, leisure activities, and errands, and patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements. Provide personal care assistance as needed while offering 1:1 support in the home and in the community. Gain enhanced caregiving skills through clinical manager support and free on-the-job training. Work with individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other intellectual or developmental disabilities in a stable, supportive environment with around-the-clock clinical support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- One year experience working with clients with intellectual and development disabilities preferred but not required (paid training provided)
