Job Summary
Provide non-medical personal care, assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, and support clients' independence and safety in their homes. Offer companionship, emotional support, and social interaction while preparing meals according to dietary needs and performing light housekeeping tasks. Assist with mobility, transfers, and approved activities, and accompany clients to appointments or errands when authorized. Observe and report changes in client condition, maintain accurate documentation, and follow all care plans, safety procedures, and infection control protocols. Maintain client confidentiality and report any suspected abuse or neglect as required by law.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Maintain all required registrations, clearances, health screenings, and certifications as required by California law and agency policy
- Report any known or suspected abuse, neglect, abandonment, isolation, financial abuse, or other reportable concerns involving an elder or dependent adult, as required by law
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
