Job Summary
Caregiver needed to provide companionship and daily living support within a 60-mile radius of Nashville, TN. Responsibilities include companionship, light cooking and cleaning, bathing, grooming and toileting, assistance with ambulation and medication reminders, and transportation for appointments and errands. Flexible scheduling with the ability to take on as many or as few hours as desired. Ideal candidates have 6 months of full-time or 12 months of part-time caregiving for geriatric or chronically ill clients, strong communication, reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance, physical capability to perform duties, reliability, and pass criminal background and drug screenings. Required Qualifications
- 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons preferred
- Exceptional communication skills
- Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
- Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
- Pass a drug screen
