Job Summary
Provide companionship and compassionate care to clients, including light cooking and cleaning; assist with bathing, grooming and toileting; support ambulation and administer medication reminders; provide transportation for appointments and errands; opportunities for advancement with HomeWell within a 60-mile radius of Nashville, TN. Must have 6 months of full-time or 12 months of part-time caregiving experience (geriatric or chronically ill), strong communication, reliable transportation (license and auto insurance), physical ability to perform duties, and pass a background check and drug screen. Required Qualifications
- 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons preferred
- Exceptional communication skills
- Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
- Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
- Pass a drug screen
