Job Summary
The Care Provider delivers personal assistance and daily care to residents to enhance independence and quality of life, following individual care plans. Responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (e.g., eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence), responding promptly to residents’ needs while preserving dignity and safety, reporting changes in residents’ condition to a supervisor, maintaining a safe environment, and fostering teamwork with coworkers and departments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Vaccinate per regulatory guidelines (COVID-19 or other) as required
