Job Summary
Provide great care and love for residents by assisting with activities of daily living including toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing, and moving residents. Ensure resident privacy, respect, and dignity while detecting and reporting unsafe conditions. Assure physical comfort, safety, and mental well-being by responding to calls and observing food intake. Participate in monthly in-service meetings, all training, and departmental meetings. Work full-time Thursday through Monday with shift details discussed at the interview.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procurement manuals, etc
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English
- Must be able to understand and follow written and oral direction
- Must show good judgement in recognizing symptoms indicative of resident's change in condition
- Successful completion of state approved medication administration training
- First aid certification
- Must attend monthly in-service educations within the community
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in healthcare preferred
