Job Summary
Caregiver responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene while maintaining residents' dignity and respect. The position requires prompt responses to resident needs, following care plans, managing residents during mealtimes, and transporting them as necessary. Candidates must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably hold a Nurses Aid certification, and have completed a health screening. The role involves physical demands such as lifting and moving residents, as well as documentation of care provided. A supportive community team and a commitment to personal and professional growth are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Age 18 or over, or have the proper work permit and work authorization documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds
- Must meet and maintain all state specific regulatory requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Nurses Aid certification preferred
- Current first aid certification
- Background clearances as required by government regulations
- Prior Caregiving experience preferred but on the job training is available for candidates with the right attitude and desire
