Job Summary
Assist clients with daily living support including cooking, light cleaning, household chores, and personal care while maintaining independence. Manage multiple client needs and document detailed care notes via mobile app. Ensure client safety by immediately reporting suspected abuse or neglect to supervisors. Transport clients to appointments and run essential errands as approved. Cover and pick up additional shifts in surrounding counties, including short notice requests. Maintain a professional appearance and possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and up-to-date liability insurance. Pass criminal background check, drug screen, and TB test; demonstrate physical ability to lift 50 pounds and navigate various home environments.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Possess reliable transportation
- Possess up-to-date liability insurance
- Ability to read, write, and follow complex oral and written instructions
- Must pass a criminal background check (including the Nurse's Aide Registry)
- Must pass a drug screen
- Provide a negative TB test
- Must undergo annual screenings
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb
- Must be able to balance
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to stoop
- Willingness to cover and pick up additional shifts in surrounding counties
- Willingness to accept short notice requests
- Must accept text messages via SMS
