Job Summary
Health and Wellness Assistant position focusing on delivering exceptional daily care to residents in a luxury senior living community. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, grooming, toileting and mobility; observing and implementing each resident’s personalized care plan; providing medication assistance as needed; maintaining a courteous, professional, and responsive approach aligned with The Sterling Touch; reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness; role requires physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds and being on one's feet to support resident comfort and safety in a high-end environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience providing assistance with ADLs (activities of daily living)
- Experience working with seniors (preferred)
- Ability to read, write and understand English to provide ADL assistance and communicate with residents, staff and guests
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work without sitting for extended periods
- Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds
