Job Summary
Conduct activities of daily living for residents, including dressing, eating, grooming, toileting, and mobility support, while adhering to personalized care plans. Provide medication assistance, communicate during emergencies, and maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional manner modeled by The Sterling Touch®. Work under the guidance of the Director of Health and Wellness to ensure compliance with community standards and procedures. Requires high school diploma or GED, one year of ADL assistance experience, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds with continuous standing and walking. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of experience providing assistance with ADLs
- One or more years of experience working with seniors
