Job Summary
Caregivers provide one-on-one in-home support to seniors and adults, assisting with ADLs (dressing, bathing, grooming, mobility), mobility assistance and transfers, incontinence care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, errands and transportation, and medication reminders (non-medical). The role emphasizes companionship, safety, and independence with flexible scheduling (weekday, weekend, overnight, and live-in shifts) and opportunities for career advancement within Extended Family Home Care. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle
- Open availability strongly preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Experience is a plus (not always required): PCA (Personal Care Aide), LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant)
- Caregiver, companion, or similar roles
