Job Summary
In-home caregiver role providing one-on-one care to seniors and adults in clients’ homes; responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, mobility), incontinence care, safe ambulation and transfers, light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, errands and transportation, and administering non-medical medication reminders. Also documents care in a daily health and wellbeing log and offers companionship and emotional support. Must have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with auto insurance, and be available with flexibility for weekday/weekend/overnight/live-in shifts. Willingness to pass a criminal background check and adapt to caregiving duties with ongoing training and mentorship; opportunity for career advancement. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle
- Open availability strongly preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- PCA (Personal Care Aide) or LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) experience is a plus
- Caregiver, companion, or similar roles experience can be considered
