Job Summary
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility transfers. Provide medication reminders, prepare meals according to dietary requirements, and monitor nutrition and hydration. Engage clients in meaningful conversations, accompany them to appointments, and observe health status changes to report to the care team. Document all care provided and notable observations. Work early morning shifts Monday through Friday with flexible hours ranging from 4 to 12 hours. Complete background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse as required by state law.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team
- Complete background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
