Job Summary
Provide personal hygiene assistance (showering, bathing, dressing, eating) for elderly or post-surgery patients; assist with ambulation and mobility; plan and prepare meals; assist with physical therapy exercises; perform housekeeping; report incidents and respond to emergencies; support activities essential for daily living and meals; require ability to lift up to 50 pounds, valid driver’s license, flexible shifts including nights/weekends; prior caregiving/HHA/CNA experience preferred; HS diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Preferred prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Enthusiasm for working one-on-one with clients
- Compassionate and supportive demeanor
- Take pride in providing high quality care
