Job Summary
Provide direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities, including bathing, toileting, feeding, dressing, and cooking. Assist with personal care needs while engaging residents in community activities like bowling, shopping, and exercising. Complete household chores such as cleaning and laundry, and maintain HIPAA compliance in all communications. Follow health and safety policies and procedures while working day, evening, and overnight shifts. Positions offer flexible scheduling from 8 to 40 hours per week with part-time and full-time opportunities. Evening and overnight shifts include a $2.00 per hour differential.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid United States driver's license
- Pass a driving record check conducted by our insurance carrier
- Pass the MN Department of Human Services Background Study
- Have off-duty access to an operable telephone
- Demonstrate maturity to work with individuals served and co-workers
- Have the ability to understand and follow instructions
- Have the ability to safely perform essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
