Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver providing hands-on caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in the Raleigh metro and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include building positive relationships, assisting with ADLs (meal prep, hygiene, household tasks), supporting community participation, employment, and social activities, using adaptive tools to aid learning and communication, promoting independence, monitoring health and safety, documenting activities, coordinating with the Abound Health team and case managers, and completing ongoing training. Flexible schedules with full-time or part-time opportunities, paid onboarding/training, weekly pay, and a $1,000 signing bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
- Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
- Lifting may be required, depending on client needs
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required — paid training and support provided
