Job Summary
Provide care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Assist with daily living activities and supports to help clients communicate requests, pursue goals identified through each person’s Centered Plan, and participate in community activities. Serve as advocate, coach, and assistant across roles (education on rights, transportation, scheduling, and promoting independence) while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to state requirements on medication administration and safety. The role is entry-level, field-based, and involves wearing multiple hats, including assisting with transportation, accompanying individuals to work and outings, and coordinating with the care team to support person-centered outcomes. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Conflict resolution
