Job Summary
Assist members with activities of daily living, including toileting and hygiene, while preparing simple meals and maintaining a safe environment. Facilitate group activities such as crafts and games, accompany members on community outings, and provide consistent encouragement and positive support. Follow care plans and safety guidelines strictly during evening, overnight, and weekend shifts in home care settings. This role supports individuals with special needs by promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being within a supportive team environment that offers training assistance for required certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Fingerprint Clearance Card (need to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Article 9 Certification
