Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Direct Support Professional providing one-on-one care to adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will accompany clients on errands and appointments, spend time on their hobbies and activities, assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, and participate in community integration activities. BAYADA offers DSP training through an Apprentice Program, with paid training and clearances/orientation. Pay starts at $17.50-$18 per hour, with apprentice rate beginning at $17.50. No prior experience required, though one year of experience with I/DD is listed as a qualification (paid training available if not).
