Job Summary
Conduct daily personal care assistance including dressing, bathing, toileting, and shaving while administering medication. Plan and execute community integration activities such as social outings, event preparation, and transportation. Prepare meals and follow individualized service plans to support consumers with disabilities, chronic mental illness, and traumatic brain injuries in residential settings. Maintain consumer dignity through behavioral support programs and essential duties. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and basic English communication skills. Flexible scheduling offers every other weekend off with shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Acceptable Background Character Verification
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record for consumer transport
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to twist, turn, squat, bend, reach, pull, push from high/low position
- Must be able to raise arms above shoulder
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to sit (chair and floor)
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to use hands and fingers
- Communicate basic English
- Basic reading, writing, and internet navigation skills
- Experience with adults with disabilities
