Job Summary
Provide support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community; implement services and supports to address personal plans and goals; assist with communication, daily living activities, and ensuring client needs are understood and met; work with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support clients’ personal outcomes; role involves lifting and physical tasks, CPR/first aid readiness, and flexible shift coverage; entry-level Direct Support Caregiver duties include helping clients identify valued social roles, monitor progress, and accompany clients to day programs and community activities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- minimum of two years of experience with the population supported
