Job Summary
Caregiver role providing one-on-one support to seniors and clients with disabilities across day and overnight shifts. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility and range-of-motion/exercises, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands, and providing companionship to improve quality of life. Requires patient, compassionate, reliable individuals capable of maintaining a consistent schedule, including 12-hour night shifts until 8am. The ideal candidate has caregiving experience in home health care or similar settings and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of previous caregiving experience
- Experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in Home Care, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing or Group Home preferred
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
