Job Summary
Assist residents with daily routines, socialization, and overall well-being while building bonds through companionship. Organize residents' activities and use Point of Service technology to obtain meal orders as needed. Demonstrate patience, compassion, and empathy in all interactions with residents and families. Maintain safe, efficient communication and reporting of changes while performing required physical tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must be comfortable working in a pet-friendly setting and speak English at a level that supports safe job performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Skilled in communicating effectively with others, including careful listening, sensitivity to others thoughts and feelings, timely and accurate reporting changes
- Compassion and patience in all personal interactions
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role
- Must be comfortable working in pet-friendly environment
- Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job
