Job Summary
Assist residents with daily routines including bathing, dressing, toileting, and socialization while building bonds through companionship. Organize residents' days and activities to ensure they enjoy themselves, demonstrating patience, compassion, and empathy in all interactions. Communicate effectively with residents and families, reporting changes timely and accurately. Perform the physical tasks required in this role while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Skilled in communicating effectively with others, including careful listening, sensitivity to others' thoughts and feelings, timely and accurate reporting changes
- Compassion and patience in all personal interactions
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role
- Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job
