Job Summary
As a caregiver at ComForCare, essential responsibilities include assisting clients with daily activities to help them maintain independence, providing personal care assistance, ensuring safe mobility and transfers, managing household needs, and offering companionship. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or G.E.D., a valid CNA license, CPR and First Aid certification, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Candidates should also possess reliable transportation and experience with mobility assistance devices is encouraged. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement are key benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- Valid CNA License
- Current CPR and First aid certificate
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to lift minimum 50 lbs. and perform necessary movements.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Hoyer lift and other mobility assistance devices
- Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.
