Job Summary
Compassionate caregiver/CNA needed to provide one-on-one in-home care for elderly or post-surgery clients. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene (showering, bathing, dressing, eating), medication reminders, ambulation and mobility support, meal planning and preparation, aiding with physical therapy exercises, accompanying clients to appointments or shopping, light housekeeping, and reporting any unusual incidents. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds, hold a valid driver’s license, and maintain compassionate, patient-centered care across varied shifts (nights/weekends). Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
