Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living including ambulation, dressing, personal care, hygiene, eating, and visiting friends. Help with mobility around the house or outside for doctor's appointments and walks. Plan and prepare meals, and in some cases assist clients in serving and eating. Complete client's shopping or accompany them to do so successfully. Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cannot complete on their own. Be a pleasant and supportive companion and report any unusual incidents to the office immediately. Must be at least 18 years of age with the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
