Job Summary
Provide in-home personal care and assistance to clients, including helping with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility and transfers, reminders for prescribed medications, meal planning and preparation with attention to dietary needs, nutrition and hydration, and meaningful companionship. May accompany clients to appointments and social activities; document care provided and report changes to the care team. Role emphasizes compassionate, collaborative care and flexible shifts (4–12 hours) in the Sandy Springs, GA area. CPR and First Aid certification preferred; excellent communication and ability to follow care plans are important.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team
