Job Summary
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients; assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility; help with light housekeeping and meal preparation; provide medication reminders; maintain clear communication with clients, families, and care coordinators; deliver reliable care by arriving on time and completing scheduled shifts. In-person home care in East Northport, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts CNA certification or HHA certificate (preferred)
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation preferred
- TB Screening (within the last 12 months)
- MMR Titer (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Varicella Titer (Chickenpox)
- Tetanus documentation
