Job Summary
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility transfers. Provide medication reminders, prepare meals according to dietary requirements, and offer companionship by accompanying clients to appointments. Monitor health status, document care provided, and report changes to the care team. Complete required background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Work flexible shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours while adhering to care plans and collaborating within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team
