Job Summary
Conduct personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, and shaving. Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions while accompanying patients on errands or medical appointments. Perform light housekeeping and execute patient-specific tasks such as providing hospice supportive care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, blood glucose monitoring, and incontinence care. Utilize lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts to care for bed-bound patients. Flexible scheduling with weekend shift differentials and benefits available to full-time equivalent employees.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living
- Ability to perform personal hygiene assistance
- Ability to assist with ambulation and transfers
- Ability to assist with dressing and shaving
- Ability to prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
- Ability to accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
- Ability to perform light housekeeping activities
