Job Summary
Provide physical care to residents to meet daily needs and enable them to function at the highest possible level while acting as their closest advocate. Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building, plan and facilitate social activities for recreation and exercise, and support the household homemaker in maintaining a clean environment and managing personal laundry. Work under the leadership of a professional nurse to meet all tasks in accordance with current standards, guidelines, and regulations. Shifts available include 2nd shift Monday–Friday (3p–11p), Saturday/Sunday (7a–7p), and Monday (7a–3p) with competitive differentials. Requires a high school diploma, state-approved CNA certification, and three months of nursing assistant experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED
- Minimum of three (3) months work experience in basic nursing procedures for nursing assistants
- Graduate of a state approved program for nursing assistants
- Competency evaluated, tested, and registered with the state
- Completion of cross training for household activities
- Completion of cross training for household social service
- Completion of cross training for household housekeeping
- Completion of cross training for household laundry
- Completion of cross training for household homemaking
- Completion of cross training for food service
- Completion of cross training for food handling
- Will comply with all federal and state regulatory requirements to maintain certification and active registry as CNA
- Minimum age of 18 years or older
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of cross training for household homemaking, including food service and food handling (ServSafe or equivalent)
