Job Summary
Provide hands-on support to residents with daily living activities including mobility, hygiene, dressing, and meal assistance; build relationships with residents, observe and report changes in condition, and help create a safe, respectful, and engaging living environment while coordinating with clinical and life enrichment teams. Responsibilities include updating each resident’s service plan, assisting with activities of daily living, supporting the Life Enrichment Program, maintaining a warm and patient environment, documenting changes and completing reports timely, and upholding HIPAA confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High-School diploma or equivalent
- Must have 1 year of experience as a Caregiver within Senior Living
- Must have or obtain (within 30-days of employment) First Aid & CPR Certification
- Must have or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment
- Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders
