Job Summary
Provide compassionate, hands-on care to Assisted Living residents throughout the day, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and incontinence care. Build genuine relationships with residents and their families while monitoring well-being and communicating changes to the care team promptly. Maintain a safe, clean environment and document all services provided, including updates to resident service plans. Work closely with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care. This role requires CNA certification or one year of related healthcare experience, with every other weekend availability. Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year related health care experience
- In any Community with an Ensemble Program, applicant must successfully complete required dementia training
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening
- Must be available for every other weekend
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- CNA certification
- Experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or caregiving
- Compassionate, dependable, and a strong team player
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for serving seniors
- Certification in CPR and first aid
- Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) in good standing
- Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems
