Job Summary
Support clients with daily living activities including turning, ambulation, personal hygiene, and nutrition. Provide comfort measures such as therapeutic baths, ice packs, and dressings. Record vital information on intake and output, communicating observations to physicians and nurses. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care while offering companionship and emotional support. Requires State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, current CPR certification, and strong oral communication skills. Flexible schedules include day and night shifts for both private and facility clients.
Required Qualifications
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent
- State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication abilities, particularly oral communication, for interacting with clients, healthcare professionals, and team members
- A calm, professional demeanor, especially in high-pressure or fast-paced situations
