Job Summary
Support clients with daily living activities including turning, ambulation, personal hygiene, and nutrition. Provide comfort measures such as therapeutic baths, ice packs, and dressings. Record vital information regarding food intake and output while communicating observations to physicians and nurses. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care and offer companionship and emotional support to elderly clients in home or facility settings. Requires CNA certification, CPR, and strong communication skills. Flexible day and night shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent
- State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication abilities, particularly oral communication, for interacting with clients, healthcare professionals, and team members
- A calm, professional demeanor, especially in high-pressure or fast-paced situations
