Job Summary
Perform non-medical in-home and community care based on the Client Service Plan, including client wellness checks and assisting with admission documents. Train other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and provide non-medical support to agency service recipients while adhering to individual service plans. Submit all required documentation accurately and on time, maintaining strict confidentiality of client records. Immediately report any incidents of injury or suspected abuse to your supervisor and appropriate authorities. Flexible shifts available Sunday through Saturday based on client needs. Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a valid State ID/Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have valid State ID/ Drivers License
- Strong communication skills – both oral and written
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations
- Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Honesty and integrity in all interactions
- Willingness to attend training sessions provided by referring agencies and/or the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities (MHDD)
