Job Summary
Conduct non-medical in-home and/or community care based on the Client Service Plan. Perform client wellness checks to ensure their well-being and assist clients with completing admission documents as needed. Help train other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in the client's home. Submit all required documentation accurately and on time while maintaining strict confidentiality of all client records and information. Immediately report any incidents of injury involving the service recipient or yourself to your supervisor and report any suspected abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have valid State ID/ Drivers License
- Strong communication skills – both oral and written
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations
- Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Honesty and integrity in all interactions
- Willingness to attend training sessions provided by referring agencies and/or the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities (MHDD)
