Job Summary
Conduct non-medical in-home and community care based on the Client Service Plan, including performing wellness checks and assisting clients with admission documents. Provide non-medical support to agency service recipients while helping train other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Submit all required documentation accurately and on time, adhering to individual service plans and maintaining strict confidentiality of client records. Immediately report any incidents of injury involving the service recipient or yourself to your supervisor, and report any suspected abuse or neglect to appropriate authorities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have valid State ID/ Drivers License
- Strong communication skills – both oral and written
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations
- Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Honesty and integrity in all interactions
- Willingness to attend training sessions provided by referring agencies and/or the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities (MHDD)
