Job Summary
Perform client wellness checks and assist with admission documents to ensure their well-being. Provide non-medical support for agency service recipients and help train other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living. Submit all required documentation accurately, adhere to individual service plans, and maintain strict confidentiality of client records. Immediately report any incidents of injury or suspected abuse to your supervisor and appropriate authorities. Follow all rules, policies, and procedures related to service delivery while operating with reliable transportation and valid state identification.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have valid State ID/ Drivers License
- Strong communication skills – both oral and written
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations
- Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Honesty and integrity in all interactions
- Willingness to attend training sessions provided by referring agencies and/or the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities (MHDD)
