Job Summary
Caregiver responsibilities include providing non-medical in-home and/or community care per the Client Service Plan, performing wellness checks, assisting clients with admission documents, training other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and delivering non-medical support while maintaining compliance with policies and protecting client confidentiality. Ensure safety by promptly reporting incidents, follow the individual service plan for each recipient, and adhere to documentation requirements. Requires compassionate, reliable individuals with strong communication skills, valid state ID/drivers license, transportation to client locations, and willingness to participate in training through MHDD and referring agencies. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have valid State ID/ Drivers License
- Strong communication skills – both oral and written
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations
- Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Honesty and integrity in all interactions
- Willingness to attend training sessions provided by referring agencies and/or the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities (MHDD)
