Job Summary
Caregivers provide non-medical in-home and/or community care per Client Service Plan, including wellness checks, assisting with admission documents, and training other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living; maintain confidentiality, follow policies, document accurately and on time, and report incidents as well as suspected abuse; requires compassionate, reliable individuals with a valid ID/driver's license and transportation, with willingness to attend agency and MHDD training; flexible schedule across Sunday–Saturday shifts in Kittrell, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have valid State ID/ Drivers License
- Strong communication skills – both oral and written
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations
- Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Honesty and integrity in all interactions
- Willingness to attend training sessions provided by referring agencies and/or the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities (MHDD)
