Job Summary
Provide medication assistance within the scope of Maryland CMT certification and the client's care plan. Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs while preparing meals and supporting daily nutrition. Offer companionship through meaningful conversation and accompany clients to appointments when appropriate. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands like grocery shopping as needed. Maintain a safe home environment by assisting with mobility and observing or reporting changes in the client's condition. Complete required care and medication documentation daily. This one-on-one role allows you to use both caregiving and CMT skills directly with a client in the Hyattsville area.
Required Qualifications
- Spanish speaking
- Current Maryland Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification
- Ability to pass required background and pre-employment screenings
