Job Summary
Provide compassionate care to residents in a memory-care community. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, grooming, peri-care, toileting, and hygiene; serve in dining rooms at meals; perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, safe environment; encourage resident independence and participate in leisure activities per the activity calendar. Observe and report changes in residents’ health and emotional wellbeing; communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and associates; ensure proper signing out when residents leave; maintain HIPAA compliance; participate in trainings and mandatory meetings; be an essential personnel member during emergencies; demonstrate teamwork, kindness, and respect in all interactions with residents and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
